Lifeguard

Duties:

  • Provide surveillance of guests primarily in aquatic areas but also on decks and within the facility.
  • Enforce the rules and regulations and render appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Respond to emergency situations in assigned zone. Assist in communicating emergency situations outside of zone.
  • Maintain skills at test-ready level in accordance with SwimSafe Pool Management’s Training Program.
  • Advise aquatics management of unsafe and/or unsanitary conditions.
    Assist guests in a polite and quick manner.
  • Perform daily routine duties and maintenance of pool to ensure neat and orderly appearance.
  • Attend all trainings offered by SwimSafe Pool Management.

Qualifications:

  • Current license in StarGuard. Training available.
  • Demonstrates ability to provide care, sensitive consideration and efficient service to guests.
  • Must be at least 15 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

  • Swim 150 yards, tread for 1 minutes and retrieve a 10 lb brick from the bottom of the pool.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a humid environment and/or be immersed in water for extended periods of time.
  • Position sometimes requires the ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.

Pool Manager

Seeking candidates whom have a commitment to, customer service, professionalism and the highest level of integrity.

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to swim and have strong customer service and safety skills.
  • Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and be available weekdays and weekends.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Duties:

  • Work with Management team, to provide a safe and pleasant work environment for employees. Help employees grow and understand SwimSafe policies.

Qualifications:

Training available if needed. Current certification in Red Cross, YMCA or StarGuard Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid.

  • Maintain skills at level in accordance with SwimSafe Pool Management’s Training Program. Advise management of unsanitary conditions. Assist guests in a polite and quick manner.
  • Perform daily routine duties in concession stand to ensure neat and orderly work area. Attend all training’s offered by SwimSafe Pool Management.
  • Work with our Concession Director to set up and perform in-service or various trainings as needed.
  • Assist the Regional team in verifying timecards, creating schedules, completing performance reviews and tracking performance, maintaining a budget and other manager responsibilities as needed.

Regional Manager Job – Service and Management

This position is responsible for the development, management and execution of SwimSafe’s Regional Pool Operations. This position will interface with Property Managers, Aquatic Managers, Home Owner Association Board Members and property owners regarding SwimSafe services and other miscellaneous services. This position will manage day to day operations and personnel servicing swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor.

Duties:

  • Primary responsibility – Hire, train and support personnel servicing pools. Auditing service quality/delivery. Perform pool spring openings, seasonal operations, fall closings and winterization. Strong troubleshooting skills. Maintain and perform minor repairs of pool equipment. Responsible for sales and billing of pool supplies, minor repairs and parts. Manage part-time seasonal pool technicians required to service pools and year round technicians servicing indoor aquatic centers.
  • Work with swimming pool chemicals, chemical control systems and pool infrastructure, such as: filters, pumps, motor, plumbing, etc. Order and control inventory of chemicals, bathroom paper products and cleaning supplies required to operate the pool.
  • Interface with Property Managers, Aquatic Center Operation Managers, HOA/COA board members and resident property owners/pool users. Work with county and state personnel responsible for health dept inspections of pool water, chemical balance and infrastructure reviews.
  • Manage pool network operations: includes job site safety, develop/adjust pool technician routes, schedules, define work requirements and time allocations to complete route services. Understand the client’s expectations and define this to SSPM service employees and set up quality checks to insure proper SSPM execution.
  • Coordinate personnel hiring, training, work schedules, payroll and coaching. Manage and own the day-to-day operations, as well as administrative needs, of each pool in the region.
  • Coordinate pool walkthroughs with Prop Mgrs, HOA/COA, etc. to assist with repair and replacement needs and help develop annual and longer term pool budgets.

Pool / Concessions Attendant

As a Pool Attendant, you would be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and fun environment for guests at the pool by showing a strong commitment to customer service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Greet guests and attend to their pool-related needs (front desk/concessions).
  • Maintain pool area in terms of safety and cleanliness.
  • Maintain equipment in particular area, ensuring all protocols are followed.
  • Monitor use of the facility and address and/or report potential hazards.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Ensure proper recording and collecting of money for concessions, passes, guests, lessons, etc.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Because each of our pools are operated individually, the needs of that particular facility may vary.

Pool Technician

We are currently hiring pool techs for our community pools. This is a seasonal, part-time position that is perfect for anyone who likes to work outdoors. The work hours start in the early morning and end mid to late morning. This is a great position for a retiree, student, or as a second job. No experience necessary, we will train you on the job. 

Duties:

  • Test pool chemicals.
  • Clean the pool.
  • Clear the pool deck.
  • Arrange pool furniture.
  • Clean the bathrooms.
  • Empty trash cans.

Requirements:

  • Dependable vehicle.
  • Cell phone.

Required license or certification:

Valid driver’s license.

Swim Lesson Instructor

Description:

If you love the water and help others, then our Swim Lesson Instructor position is for you. Our instructors play in the water, build relationships with students, and celebrate success, all while teaching water safety and stroke development skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe environment for students
  • Provide swim instruction based on the SwimSafe curriculum
  • Know your swimmers’ accomplishments and communicate to parents and/or lesson coordinator
  • Use creative-thinking to discover new ways to teach
  • Celebrate even the smallest victories of students
  • Use problem-solving skills to address challenges
  • Act as a representative of SwimSafe Pool Management Co. throughout swim lessons
  • Report any incidents or unsafe situations/conditions to management team
  • Attend training and in services as required

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with children
  • Comfortable in water and basic swim knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal communication
  • Successful completion of SwimSafe swim lesson training upon hire

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous Swim Lesson Instructor experience or Swim Team Coaching experience

Construction and Repair Technician

SwimSafe Pool Management- Construction and Repair is looking to hire a full time C&R Technician. We are a family-owned company that provides comprehensive pool management services to Tri-State area facilities. Construction and Repair Division’s mission is to use best practices to ensure that commercial pools are properly maintained to maximize the useful life of the pool, pumps and equipment.

Duties: Work with staff to complete repairs and construction projects including but not limited to: motor changes, plumbing, tile, concrete, pump room upgrades, and light changes in various locations around Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, and Dayton Ohio.

Qualifications:  

  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed. 
  • Plumbing, Concrete, and/or electrical background preferred. 
  • Valid driver license required.

Physical Requirements: Work involves heavy lifting and working with various tools, types of demolition, hammers, and construction equipment. Requires the ability to work outdoors
